Sponsorship - Program Booklet
To help defray the cost of printing the Program Booklet for the Literary Luncheon, we are soliciting contributions from members. There are two ways that you can help.
1) This year our printed program booklet will celebrate “California Women Suffrage Centennial: 1911 - 2011 Votes for Women.” Our goal is to have the program booklet be an educational piece as well as a celebration of the Suffrage movement in California.
For a $50.00 donation you can help provide the information for the booklet — either by choosing one of our statements celebrating women's suffrage, or creating a message of your own. Your generous donations will help us spread the education about California Women’s Suffrage.

2) Again this year, In conjunction with four levels of sponsorship, you can purchase an ad in the program booklet with your message to our members or your good wishes.

How the funds raised will be used
The American Association of University Women (AAUW) advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.
The Literary Luncheon proceeds help the AAUW Laguna Beach Foundation, AAUW Laguna Beach Branch's nonprofit arm, benefit the AAUW Educational Opportunities Fund that supports educational and lifelong learning opportunities that give women a chance for a lifetime of success with fellowships, grants, or selected professional awards. The event also supports Thurston Middle School girls chosen to attend one of the AAUW California Tech Trek Summer Math and Science Camps held at statewide university campuses.
In addition, funds raised help support the branch's El Morro Elementary School after school tutoring program (TLC), scholarships for Laguna Beach High School senior girls, scholarships for women returning to college/university and grants to local community nonprofit organizations that apply and address needs related to AAUW's mission of educational and gender equity for women and girls, e.g., La Playa Center's ESL program, Sally's Fund for senior services, The Boys & Girls Club, the Community Clinic's women's program and Laguna Beach Live!
